"Stayed at several B&Bs during our trip. This one we would not return to. AC wouldn't go below 28c/82f. The beds were really hard, so between the heat and bed it was very hard to sleep. Be prepared to carry your bags up spiral staircase 3 floors without help. Bring a towel for pool, they do not provide. "This hotel is not even close rating 4 stars. It needs a major face lift: mold/dirt on balconies outside, inside the vinyl furniture is torn or has holes in many places and housekeeping took our extra pillows saying we were not allowed to have them! In our first room, the AC did not work at all and shower was terrible. Staff WAS very helpful and easily gave us another room. The AC in the second room at least worked though not well at all. It was always warm in the room. After the second morning...

"Hotel Venere is right on the main street in town. The Pizza/Sub place across the street was a great choice. We had a double room w/sleep sofa. (Very comfortable) for 5 adults. This was one of the only rentals that would take a couple of days instead of Saturday to Saturday. The young man behind the desk was very helpful and spoke English. We will definitely stay there again. "

"Arrived at the hotel and was presented with parts of the hotel with scaffolding and workers at the front of the hotel. In the hotel reception half of the lights were off and it was very dark and had a funny smell to it. The smell was all over the hotel, and it was like cheap disinfectant. Also the hotel is named as a spa hotel but you have to pay to use the spa which is not detailed on their website or Expedia. Despite the outside of the hotel suggesting it was a 4.5 start this doesn’t even come close to a 3 star. Breakfast was very poor as well, one type of fruit and plastic glasses for juices. Staff also are not filling up items which become empty so we had 3 yoghurts to 5 people. "

"We went in late May, so before the main season. The hotel is lovely, comfortable rooms - book one with a sea view, it's amazing. The pool was fabulous, plenty of seating and sunbeds. Good parking arrangements. Staff are friendly and willing to help. If there was an area for I would suggest some alternatives to the baked sweet goods, although if you have a sweet tooth, you're in for a treat. Eggs were available on request and they were good. It is a stunningly beautiful part of the world and the hotel is a perfect place to enjoy it."
