Walkable from station and super close to all the sights of Cannes. Simple and basic but all I needed. Bed comfy. Excellent value for money considering location. Had a lovely courtyard though I didn’t get to use it as I was staying just one night. Check-in closes quite early at 8pm so make sure you contact if you’ll be late. Friendly and welcoming. Would certainly stay again if I visit Cannes.

Small budget hotel with Approx 12 rooms. If yr a light sleeper give this place a miss !! Every night you will hear the front door close, footsteps along the corridor, and keys rattling in an attempt by guests trying to open their respective doors. My stay was actually ruined no fault of the hotel, by inconsiderate inebriated patrons nightly returning to the hotel, slamming doors, and screaming loudly at each other 😠 Due to the size of the hotel, it was impossible to sleep thru these disturbances. As for my room, it was extremely small and basic, but nevertheless clean. The courtyard lacks in appeal, as it needs a good clean, and the stacked car tyres moving. All in all, not a good stay, but possibly no more than I should have expected when paying approximately £50 per nt to stay in Cannes.

Dear Allan,We are very sorry that you had a bad experience at our hotel. Our neighbor is doing some renovation hence they have unfortunately used part of the courtyard as waste dump but we try to keep our part of the courtyard clean an nice, however, the expression is less good due to the mess of the neighbors. We are sorry that you did not have a good stay.

Pleasant stay in the centre of Cannes
Very nice hotel close to the Palais des festivals, la Croisette and the station. Appreciated the welcome and the room. Would be even better to have the possibility of a late check out

The hotel was very nice. The mattress was excellent. It was a very nice courtyard in front where we enjoy the bottle of wine or evening.

This property resembles a small European family pension at the doorsteps of the old Cannes Suquet, with a convenient parking next to it. Hard to beat pricewise and for the cachet. Mr. Flemming is a very distinguished host, and no concierge can replace the look of Oscar welcoming you at the door. :-)

Good experience
it was a good experience, the website says check-in by 5pm but i arrived at 4pm and the owner received us, very friendly, calm hotel, with a friendly pet, very clean hotel, with a fast wi-fi, we had to check out by 10 am but the owner left us until 2pm because we had a bus to catch by 4pm and it was very cold so he left us stay until we had to go. I recommend this hotel

You pay what you get for. Even tho this property, like most in Cannes are EXTREMELY overpriced. Was there for the festival, there was no other place close to the festival and this popped up on my orbitz listings. Its nice, quaint, very French. Room is tiny, and shower is even tinier. Im 220 pounds and had problems going in and out of the shower. The hallways had a musk smell to it. This is pretty much a hostel. Would I stay here again, if there was no were else economical to stay close to the festival maybe. Otherwise, everything else was just OK.

Hotel staff was excellent. Spoke English fluently and went out of his way to make our stay the best! Location was excellent!! Room was clean and basic. We had a showers in our room which was fine. We shared a bathroom. It was clean and efficient.

Good value option, excellent location. Large multi-storey close by which solves the parking problem. Helpful host! I’d recommend the hotel. It’s basic accommodation but with a basic price too.

A boldfaced lie.
The location is AMAZING. You definitely want to stay somewhere around here when you are in Cannes but this hotel I would not return to. The pictures are all deceiving. I only booked for one night thank goodness and it was my fault that I didn't notice that you don't have your own toilet in your room. But for the price not at all worth this. The nice pic of the courtyard is a demonstration of a talented photographer as when you arrive it is grungy and dim. The room has a shower in it shoved up against on the beds and I felt like I was just waiting for bugs to come out of somewhere. The manager is actually really nice but the property is horrendous. Again, epic location but this place needs either a torch and a flame or some serious renovations. The angle of the bedroom pics is taken to not demonstrate how small they are. I did stay in an economy one but still very disappointed. If you want something for a similar price but no feeling of bugs waiting outside.. go to Little Palace Hotel right near Gare De Cannes.

Those rooms have all shared WC and it is written in the description of the rooms. We have other room with private bathroom and the date you stayed here we even had a free one. Some times we got a guest who does not like the room. When they tell us we always try to find a solution, hence we are sad that you did not contact us about changing to another room.

Perfect location for affordable hotel.
This hotel was located just a few minutes from great restaurants and only a few minutes from the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was the floor in my room was really dirty. I had to keep shoes on. It was very cheap though considering what a fabulous location.

Well located and standard
The hotel is well located and close to the sea. The owner is friendly and helpful. The hotel facility would be the only weak point. The room was certainly adequate to my needs, but was small and oddly set up (the shower was not separated from the room (so other guests in your room either have to leave the room or watch you shower).

a delightful bargain
It's old (with character) & room was small but great for us: get up, have breakfast, go all day, come back for a nap, and go to dinner, repeat. The owner Pascal is the perfect host.

The hotel was quite dilapidated. We had to share a communal toilet though there was a shower and hand basin in our room. There was no air conditioning and the room was really hot. Great location,

Great affordable place to stay in Cannes
This very nice small cozy place in the old city of Cannes, very close to great restaurants. The owners take good care of their hotel and they were very helpful. The adorable Oscar is also must see for people who like dogs.

Great place to stay. Right near Le Suquet (old town). Lively neighborhood right near by but the hotel itself was very quiet and calm.The owner has a little french bulldog named Oscar and he is adorable. The room has a shared toilets but you have your own shower and lavatory in your room. It's not a bad set up at all considering the price range.

Simple, central, and affordable
Hotel is in the centre of the old town and very close to the promenade. Felt very safe, room was small but we were only there for 1 night. Only issue we had was very noisy neighbours, no fault of the hotel of course. The man at reception was friendly and we could store our bags once we had checked-out. The times at which the reception is manned is quite inconvenient however, 5pm is late to check-in. Overall though, a pleasant stay and would recommend.

Situated in the centre of Cannes
Very friendly hotel in the old part of Cannes, a stone's throw from the beaches and restaurants. Good value breakfast in the beautiful tranquil courtyard. Owner couldn't make you feel more welcome. Modest/ functional facilities - all you need really. In the non-flashy part of Cannes - what a relief!

The room was extremely small but in the middle of all the restaurants that you could want. Though not near any noise at all. The hotel is run by a really nice man who can not do enough for you. The breakfast was so fresh. The room very clean and the bed was so comfortable. All in all a very good hotel for very little money. The only problem was the toilet was not in our room as the description said. Wasn't a problem though as it was just down the corridor.

Very nice place. The lights are on motion sensors, so taking a shower was a bit of a challenge in the tiny bathroom. Perfect for simply crashing for the night, it is within a 15 minute walk from the beach and the train.

Viel besser gelegen kann man in Cannes nicht wohnen. Mitten in der Altstadt hat man einen kurzen Weg zu allen touristischen Punkten.
