"We had a spacious room with two queen beds, a nice sized TV with a DVD player and DVDs to borrow from the front desk every night. We enjoyed the gas fireplace. Having a microwave and a mini fridge was fantastic.
We had a front door that came from the parking lot into our room and a nicely appointed bathroom. We had a back door that went out onto the garden on the first floor, where there were chairs on our porch and Adirondack chairs on the lawn with a fish pond and lots of wild bunnies running around.
The staff was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast and the breakfast room was really good. A cut above the average free hotel breakfast.
I ordered the bottle of wine, box of Local chocolates, and a single long-stemmed red rose for our anniversary for the supplemental surcharge noted on the website. It was there when we arrived as well as with two souvenir wine glasses for us to take home. This was a nice touch for our anniversary.
The one thing I didn’t realize is that the inn is across a small road that you have to cross in order to get to the beach. But there was a little mini market right across from the hotel and we were really close to lots of great restaurants with oceanfront and great sunset views.
We enjoyed the seafood dinner and clam chowder $$ at Mo‘s on night number one. We splurged and did the gourmet $$$ dinner at Stephanie Inn on night two. Both were delicious.
