"Clean the hot tub/spa! There is mold/algae/dirt all around the intake at the bottom of the spa/hot tub. Clean/add chlorine to the pool. It's very cloudy and our skin itched after we got out and went back to our room. Also, our room keys stopped working early this morning and we had to get the house cleaning people to get us into our room twice. All in all, this was a disappointing stay, especially by the standards we have become accustomed to at Hilton properties!"

"Great hotel in a more secluded, not as touristy part of the island. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. Good amenities and helpful staff. It can get a bit noisy in the evening as non-hotel guests come to the bar and restaurant, but otherwise a great, relaxing experience!"

"Hanalei Bay Resort exceeded ALL of our expectations! This is the most beautiful resort we have ever seen! The views are breathtaking no matter where you are at the Resort. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The Resort grounds are well maintained, beauty surrounds you everywhere you go! Our 2 bedroom suite was clean, spacious and "homey" with a spectacular view from each sliding glass door. We enjoyed being able to walk to a gorgeous beach minutes away and if you don't feel like walking, no worries, there are amazing employees who will take you to and from in a golf cart. The beach also has jaw dropping views especially the beach walk towards Hanalei Beach/Bay. We LOVED the Happy Talk Lounge as the Hanalei Bay Resort is now our "happy place." We cannot say enough positive things about this very special Resort. We will tell all of our friends and loved ones all about HBR and we will 100% return in the near future because we did not want to leave. "Very old property and although they look like they’re about to remodel it, it doesn’t have the same amenities as neighboring Properties. The hot tub was down for our visit with no options to use sisters resort. Probably would never stay here again. The staff was nice. "

"We stayed at the Sheraton Kauai resort villas during spring break (we are a family of 4). We really enjoyed the property which provided enough variety give it is not the size of some of much larger resorts on the island. Besides the pool, my kids (12 and 15) really enjoyed playing garden chess and corn hole. It was really convenient to have a kitchenette and the ability to do laundry in the villa. We just wish the kitchen came with either 2 sets of dishes and utensils (or a dishwashing liquid, a sponge and a drying rack to do dishes by hand) since it did not make sense to run the dishwasher for 4 plates after each meal. The property itself is in a great location and near a nice shopping center. There are also 2 restaurants on site and a convenience store/gift shop on the premise. Would definitely recommend."
