"We found the room very convenient, comfortable and to our liking. The pool was great and the service at the beach was well-managed, easy and friendly. We used the laundry service to our satisfaction although it was a little challenging to figure out. My only disappointment, and this will not apply to most people, is that there was amplified live music during dinner time, from 6 to 9 every evening, and we would have liked to eat and hang out on our balcony facing the pool. Unfortunately the music was quite loud, and impossible to ignore. Because of it we had to stay indoors or go out during those hours. I realize I am difficult on this matter, because most people like pop music or can tune it out, As a professional musician that is not the case for me. Other than that we had a fabulous time in Cape May and at La Mer, truly a class act. The weather cooperated and the beach was wonderful. I will definitely stay again at La Mer."

"From the moment we arrived, the Boarding House transported us to a beach weekend paradise! 😎 Absolutely amazing at every moment and most pleasing - serious next level cleanliness, the faint aroma of bleach and a spotless environment at every moment. The lobby, the grounds, but our room- was honestly- absolutely immaculate! 🫧🫧🫧 The rooms are decorated with a chill, beach feel and the mood sets you into beach weekend chill mode. 🌊 The hotel staff are visible, friendly, and Camille is outstanding- she set a tone of relaxation that we felt all weekend long! 😎✨️ Even better, our dog was welcomed with open arms, there are amenities for dogs and many other room guests had their dogs with them too, creating a peaceful, dog loving vibe, that really felt good as a dog owner. 😊🐾❤️⛱️ We can't wait to come back! The Boarding House is close to all the killer shops, restaurants and Washington Square, plus a cool nature trail across the street, and beaches ⛱️ too! We had an amazing weekend!!!!"

"Clean room but phone didnt work, no one came to fix when mentioned. 2nd time here in the yrs so everything else remained the same, great location, beach across the st. Restaurant food is average"

"Place was within walking distance to beach, about 5 blocks. Had dinner at Harry's on the beach afterwards. Only complaint would be you had to walk 4-5 extra blocks along Beach to use their complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas."

"There was no stress parking. The staff was adequate. The room was small and sparse. No coffee maker nor refrigerator. A refrigerator was an extra charge. While I do understand summer pricing is on the high side, I feel that we should have received more amenities for the room cost."
