"What didn’t like:
The hotel insisted on charging €30 a day for an infant (7month old), €150 for the trip. While the hotel has excellent facilities for children (1 year+) it does not cater at all babies. Aside from bottle warmers in the dining areas and the common courtesy of a cot in the room & high chair, there was nothing else. None of the toilets throughout the village had baby changing facilities and of course the food options were not applicable. The premium restaurant was also inaccessible for push chairs (stairs only, no elevator). The additional cost was excessive and in bad faith with that in mind.
What we did like:
Our room was pristine, a decent size and the shower (which is key measure for me in a hotel) was really great. The staff, especially around the dining areas were generally excellent. Friendly and courteous to us with our minimal/bad Italian and amazing with our child. The food was great, probably as good or better than the food we had outside of the resort, especially in the Mirto(?) restaurant. The selection was large, fresh and varied from day to day, better than we initially expected from a half board."
"We were here for the second week of a two week Italian vacation. Resort was breathtaking. Well maintained and served our needs as we had hoped. Morning breakfast buffet is included and did not disappoint. Everything from smoothies plenty of fruit dairy and breads. Omelette station was very good. My only disappointment was the very overpriced dinner buffet. We stayed in one night and for $70 a person not including drinks the value received for the fee was poor at best. I would suggest anyone staying here to walk the 1 mile to the marina and pick one of the two excellent restaurants. We ate at Delia three times and for $60 we got a three course meal with desert and two drinks for $60. Much better value. Other than that this resort is outstanding. "
"Very quiet band relaxing location. Excellent restaurant. Very disappointed that we did not receive our free bottle of wine which was included in the booking"
"Very nice relaxing stay. The staff were very helpful and always tried their best to communicate in English. Good was decent. There grounds are very big and lovely to walk around. However, some aspects are a bit old and I found it slightly over priced. "
