Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Tallahassee Central
10/10 Excellent
"Loved this location! Close to so many shops, restaurants, places I needed to go to. Very convenient! Peaceful area.
The staff was so welcoming. One thing I noticed was they were not only pleasant and helpful with customers, but also to each other. That does make a difference in staff, when they respect each other!
I did love the indoor pool, but I thought it was going to be heated.
The rooms were very clean and maintained. The breakfast was on point, plenty of choices. Loved the waffle maker!
My son lives in Tallahassee, and I visit several times a year. You count on us being repeat visitors at this specific location!"
"Tiara, who helped service and organize the breakfast bar, was absolutely amazing! She treated my family with so much care and hospitality. We were rushing out for soccer games each morning, and seeing her first thing truly made our hectic mornings feel pleasant and welcoming. Her kindness and positive energy did not go unnoticed.
I do wish the front desk clerk had shown a little more energy and warmth when greeting guests during check-in. The hotel itself was perfect for my family size, which we really appreciated. However, I did notice the room was a little dusty, one of the plates in the cabinet was not fully cleaned, and we found a glass still inside the dishwasher. The kitchen and bathroom sink drains also could have been scrubbed a bit more thoroughly.
Other than those minor issues, we truly had no major complaints and enjoyed our stay overall."
"I really can’t rate the hotel; I ended up not staying after we got there. The place looked sketchy and unfinished; I think they were under construction. When I went to the office, it was closed. A nice man came out of a room & greeted us, then knocked on the office door. Another nice man came out, but neither knew about our reservation. They called a woman, I assume the owner, and she confirmed our reservation, but our room wasn’t even ready at 6pm. I was done. We left. The lady they called left me a voicemail apologizing for the issues, but I really didn’t feel comfortable staying anymore."
