"The hotel is a jewel in the heart of historic Castel Gandolfo. Our Superiore room was spacious, well equipped, and had a long balcony with a breath taking view of Lake Albano. "We have stayed at this property many times in the past and always enjoy our stay. The train station is nearby and it is easy and convenient to take the train to Rome. "

"The photos definitely make it look like a 5 star hotel. I would give it a 2.5-3 at best. Make sure to not book if you can’t get the lake view. That’s the best thing about the hotel. No amenities. The pictures make the place look 10x better than it is. Underwhelming in person"

"Likes: We were able m the 6th floor and most of our 4 nights the other floors were full of coach parties and most of them were kids. Despite that, the room was quiet. Room was clean and was well kept every day by housekeeping. Mini fridge in the room. Dislikes: Minor, but a lack of electric sockets without having to in plug something else first.
