How old do you have to be to rent a car in China?
Drivers aged 18 and over can go road-tripping around China in a rental vehicle. If you're a young driver, a daily surcharge applies. You'll usually be restricted to a few car categories, such as compact and mid-size, and may also have to purchase comprehensive insurance. Be sure to enter the correct age of the main driver when booking to learn if any restrictions apply to you.
What do you need to rent a car in China?
