When booking online sometimes you never know what you’re going to get until you get there. We went so we could stay close to Southern Illinois University. It was great location and it was clean. The staff was friendly, but the only thing I honestly was looking for was cleanliness.

Service was top notch. Hotel is a little datey but clean and nice. Only set back is no breakfast. But they are working on modernization with a restaurant.

We enjoyed our overnight stay with Holiday Inn in Carbondale very much. They were accommodating with our late arrival and the facility itself was well maintained and clean. Complimentary breakfast was also provided and we wish we had another day to stay.

Great Rooms - Breakfast could be better.

The room was very nice, large, quiet and updated. The bed was very comfortable. The only downfall is the breakfast. They do offer some grab-and-go type items. It would be much nicer to have a better selection of hot foods that you don't have to microwave. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
