"This was an unusual place to stay overnight on our way further South in Spain.
The location was accurately given by both Google Maps and Waze. You have to trust them as the approach looks a bit unlikely as you get nearer. May be tricky if arriving in the dark.
We were a bit nervous about the entry process using links on our phones but it was all very easy in practice. Just be sure to have mobile signal & power in your battery.
We had the place to ourselves so it felt like staying in a huge Airbnb. The kitchen facilities were very useful.
One big piece of advice; there are no restaurants or food shops in the near vicinity so I’d suggest doing a food shop before arrival if you don’t want to drive again later.
There’s a large Carrefour about 5 mins drive away."
"Fantastic views from this parador … needs a bit of TLC in the outside by pool area.
Resturant needs to be improved.. dishes not complete from menu. Many produce didn’t arrive on dish. IE rosemary potatoes replaced by couscous!!!! When asked where potatoes were. Just got a shrug and said that they would cook some, half way through course.
They did apologise.
Will still stay there again
Shame about the restaurant, could be so wonderful."
"We loved the position of this hotel that was close to everything you want to see in the old town and the restaurants too. The staff were extremely helpful.
Our room on the 7th floor had a very compact bathroom and when the door was opened it caught the knees and toes of the person sitting in the toilet behind. The toilet also had a constant leak and the shower head clasp was broken and kept coming off the wall.
That said the hotel was of excellent value and the magnificent roof terrace with a stunning view of the cathedral made up for these small faults. Eating lunch from the supermarket next door or bringing up a drink in the evening were memories that we will never forget. Thank you"
"The hotel is surrounded by nature and ideal for people who enjoy peace and quiet. Also ideal for those travelling with pets. The restaurant serves good food and hotel staff where very friendly. Our room was clean and had comfy beds. On-site parking available. Only downside was an 'occasional' stench in the room from the drains."
