"Beautiful location and stunning building, only ourselves and the owners there on our two night stay. Lovely staff. Friendly owners. Unfortunately the room was pretty tired and bathroom needed a good overall. Old marked shower enclosure. Crumbling walls round the shower unit. Shower coming away from wall and mould round taps. Also a ton of ants in and around bathroom. Tissue box full of them.
Breakfast which was included was poor. Very old looking tomato and cucumber slices and tbh v little...
"Very warm welcome from helpful and friendly owner who helped us with local advice throughout our stay (including sourcing covid tests for flights). Spacious, clean 2bed, 2 bathroom, plus kitchen apartment perfect for our family of 5 as a base to explore the island. "
"Very nice place to stay in Caltagirone. Few minutes walk to the main streets and all the restaurants. Parking was very easy nearby. The host was very friendly. Room was good sized, only complaint about some ants but nothing too bad. Good value for the price for sure, would recommend!"

The breakfast offers various and excellent food, a lot of self-made/grown products (olive oil, focaccia, yoghurt).
The pool is above the rooms and offers a beautiful view, in all directions. It is being cleaned every day and invites to relax.
The rooms are very clean and modern.

"This rental was not as advertised. Old food left in fridge and cabinets. Overwhelming smoke smell in apartment that was supposed to be non smoking. Bed linens were stained. Mattress was old and uncomfortable. Dishwasher door missing and inside very dirty. Not worth the money we paid at all. "

"Although it wasn't the easiest finding this hotel outside of the limited zone area, otherwise, the stay was perfection. The room was lovely and the staff was friendly and professional. Our breakfast in the morning was delicious and you couldn't beat the view from the terrace. Breathtaking! Would stay here again....without a doubt."

Greatly enjoyed the garden surroundings and the sparkling pool, including the friendly dog. The very friendly owner provided easy transport to dining options. "We had a lovely stay at the Relais Antica Badia. The team were just fantastic in keeping us comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was amazing and the little daily cakes and evening chocolates made it special. They even did a small breakfast birthday cake for my wife. The hotel location is good with lots of nice restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The location is also good for accessing Ragusa Ibla via the steps. The local bus station to Modica and Scicli is also an easy walk. We thoroughly recommend a stay here and would certainly stay again. "
