"The room was the most unpleasant hotel I have ever stayed. The room had a harsh odor of stale smoke and mildew. The only pleasant part was the customer service, they at least provided me with Febreeze air freshener spray. It didn’t work but they tried. The bath tub was not clean but the carpet was vacuumed. "
Holiday Inn Express & Suites N Waco Area - West by IHG
2/10 Terrible
"The place was filthy. No place for my dog to potty. There was filth in the bathroom especially. The parking area was good.
I repeatedly asked the staff to clean my room. When I arrived I entered the elevator and the door had bad stuff on the door.
I asked to speak to the manager and was told he wasn’t available. Ever. I spent two nights out of the five that were booked.
The television channels didn’t include any major networks or any local news.
Overall, it was the worse two nights I have ever spent. "
"There are far too many things to mention here. All I can say is please, please read the reviews. This place, although has great potential and maybe once upon a time it was amazing but now it’s just aged and not taken care of at all.
No staff on site or other patrons. We basically were out in the middle of nowhere which was fine but it felt extremely strange, literally a ghost town.
Buildings falling apart, overgrown weeds, asphalt with huge potholes.
I can’t stress enough that you have to read all the reviews , I only read a few leading up to my booking and most were average. I chose it because it looked like a cool destination, a cattle ranch, the photos on line arw not accurate account of what you’ll find when you arrive. It looked like old Country western town charm and it did scream old country but more importantly aged / neglected old.
The one staff member I spoke o my on the phone with was very kind and sweet. I did not complain while we were there because there was nothing she was going to be able to fix ALL-the things that were clearly out of here control. We were so disappointed and actually left a day early and stayed at a hotel. I could go on and on about all the things that were wrong but let’s just close with,
So disappointing.
