The Green Lantern was one of the best stays I’ve experienced. Augustina the Receptionist is amazing, she added to our stay with her knowledge of the area and kindness. Will stay again !

The Green Lantern is in a quiet area of Carmel. Loved that. They are renovating and making the property fresh and updated. Our bed was very comfortable and our room was clean! Loved our stay in this peaceful, lovely inn.

The Green Lantern Inn is a wonderful place to stay. For the price point, the location is unbeatable—within walking distance to both the beach and the heart of Carmel. The property is quiet and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the cozy fireplace in our room. The staff and manager were excellent. We hope to return next year!

Staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. Grounds were very nice and close to everything. The steps from the door to the bed were steep and narrow. I’m older and have bad knees. I wish this would have been told to us we would have requested a different room.

pros: Very cute and very Carmel cottages and ground. convenient and quiet. walkable to shopping, dining and beach. The staff is very friendly. cons: Very limited onsite parking. The street parking is impossible until after dinner on the weekend. The insulation of the cottage is bad. Our cottage was so hot that we had to keep the door open after dinner until it cools down. Also not all the windows have screens. bugs get in. very limited storage space and have to live out of the suitcase mostly.

We wanted to love this Inn and it was lovely in many ways. The ceilings in our room were so low and just wish we had gotten a heads up, my husband hit his head hard on the ceiling! The room was also not very clean. The bed was comfortable and had all the great amenities. The area is cute! Overall, an okay stay but wanted so much more!
