"Quiet and picturesque the perfect getaway 15 minutes from Morecombe as well as plenty do do there plus nice walks around the area"

"We were visiting the White Scar caves and The Wheatsheaf was an excellent choice for an overnight stay. The room ( Snow Fall) was a good size, simply decorated but had everything you needed for a short stay, in particular a decent tea tray. Only issue was the bathroom door is difficult to open, we found three old ladies had been in there since Monday, seriously my wife couldn't open it and I had to push it from the outside. Bar and dining room are very comfortable and meal in the evening was decent but a bit pricey. Breakfast was in the dining room with a good selection of cold and hot options, tea water could have been hotter but not the end of the world. Staff were great, one poor girl seemed to have about 15 jobs as she checked us in, served us in the bar, did breakfast and was ordering supplies when I checked out. I don't think she sleeps. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting the caves or the falls or just want a relaxing stay in Ingleton. Recommended"

"The hosts/owners were the most welcoming and friendly couple. The property was immaculate and the quality of the rooms were 10/10. Breakfast was cooked to our requested time and menu. Which was delicious. If we’re ever in the area again we would definitely stay. "
