"Lovely warm rooms, on a particularly cold weekend, spotlessly clean and including very useful kitchen, sofa, table and chairs. My only area for improvement would be better communicating that these rooms are essentially self-catering. A small amount of tea, coffee and milk is provided as a welcome when you arrive, but you really need to bring your own if you are staying for more than one night. We came in unequipped for self-catering, but there was a small shop for essentials and a bar/restaurant for lunch and dinner on-site. Staff were also extremely helpful in directing us to a nearby truckers’ café that did really good breakfasts. I would definitely stay here again."

"This hotel had a rating of 9.6 when I booked. It deserves at least that it is excellent. The staff are fantastic and the food is great. The ambience in the bars is superb. A lot of thought has gone into the decor to make this the most welcoming and relaxing place to stay."
