Nice location, close to attractions , ample parking, dog friendly , warm host, hearty breakfast, definitely will chose this hotel if come back to Yorkshire dale next time.
Lovely Hotel in the heart of village with super friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble and we were even given an upgrade on arrival! We will definitely be going back at some point. Thank you so much 👍
If you are looking for a great base for some walking in the Dales then this place is great. Good location, good food, warm shower, comfy bed and lovely staff who made us very welcome! Would certainly stay again!! Thank you!
Overall a good stay, free parking. Great staff, friendly, helpful and informative.
Nice cosy warm large room with all facilities you would expect and a few extras (biscuits, water)
Includes breakfast which made costs reasonable. Restaurant was excellent, food high quality, again reasonable price.
Fabulous hotel made to feel welcome as soon as we entered the bar on a busy Sunday lunchtime! The landlord let us check in early the room overlooked the bar garden and nice rural views! Lovely really pub with a selection of real ales! Will be return in the near future! Ingelton is a pretty place. The breakfast is delicious good quality ingredients. Ideal for families.
Lovely 1 night stay. Great links to local sights which is what we were looking for.
Great beer garden, lots of space and very dog friendly.
Food was lovely especially the breakfast and staff were very friendly
Staff were brilliant food was amazing and room was really nice.
As I couldn’t be there for breakfast they left me a very nice take away breakfast pack outside my room.

It was clean and we would stay again. But the food was not so good. We'd eat elsewhere.

Lovely but tired
Beautiful location, exceptional staff, overall a really nice location, needs a little TLC, but that didn't distract overall from a nice stay.
Great location in the centre of the village close to the waterfall trail and footpaths to Ingleborough. Pleasant rooms. Good pub style grub. Adequate car park. Beer garden. Very friendly & welcoming staff with a special mention for Kelly and Abigail.

Clean Room
The room is clean, bed was comfy and good tea making facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We both had full English. Coffee was filtered and not too strong.
My wife, daughter and I stayed at The Wheatsheaf combining a work trip with some family time. We felt very well looked after at The Wheatsheaf; the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was a really good size for the three for us and we were all very comfortable. It is also a fantastic location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and Lakes, with the beautiful Ingleton waterfall trail right on the doorstep. Thank you to the team! We hope we get to come back!
We stayed for one night, June 2025, I wish it had been longer! From start to finish, everything about our stay was lovely. Picturesque building in a beautiful setting. Plenty of room in the private car-park. The staff could not have been friendlier. We ate an evening meal in the pub and it was really lovely. Plenty of choice on the menu, reasonably priced and the food was excellent. Our room was spacious and looked as if it had been recently decorated. Comfortable bed, well-appointed bathroom, plenty of amenities. All you would expect from a really good hotel, let alone a country pub. Breakfast was lovely - well cooked, beautifully presented and ample quantities. I can't recommend The Wheatsheaf highly enough! Thank you!

Staff are friendly, can be a bit noisy until the pub closes, yes I know it's a pub lol. Parking can be very busy at times, breakfast I great. Room was kept clean but no attention to detail for example nobody replenished the shower wash in 5 days of cleaning
We were visiting the White Scar caves and The Wheatsheaf was an excellent choice for an overnight stay. The room ( Snow Fall) was a good size, simply decorated but had everything you needed for a short stay, in particular a decent tea tray. Only issue was the bathroom door is difficult to open, we found three old ladies had been in there since Monday, seriously my wife couldn't open it and I had to push it from the outside. Bar and dining room are very comfortable and meal in the evening was decent but a bit pricey. Breakfast was in the dining room with a good selection of cold and hot options, tea water could have been hotter but not the end of the world. Staff were great, one poor girl seemed to have about 15 jobs as she checked us in, served us in the bar, did breakfast and was ordering supplies when I checked out. I don't think she sleeps. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting the caves or the falls or just want a relaxing stay in Ingleton. Recommended
Had a great one night stay here, the room was very clean and tidy and so was the bathroom. We ate in the restaurant which was also good. It’s a great location place to get to the three peaks, about 15 mins drive to Horton on ribblesdale.
The only one slight downside to our stay was that there was a band playing in the pub below and typically we wanted to get an early night and start for the run the next morning. They were finished by 11 though and as someone who any other time would have been downstairs watching it isn’t really a complaint!
We stopped off at the Wheatsheaf after a very long day of driving. We were cutting it fine to get there in time for dinner but I phoned ahead and let them know we were coming. We arrived 5 minutes before last food order but we were made to feel really welcome and weren’t rushed at all. We had an excellent dinner before we even checked in! The staff were friendly and welcoming.
I adjourned to the cosy bar area after dinner for a drink while reading my book.
Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and these days it feels like a bonus that it’s included in the room rate.
We had intended to go up Whernside before heading home to Scotland but the weather was appalling so we’ll just have to come back!
We had booked the Cabaret suite, but something was causing a very loud intermittent noise, like a grinding sound. So was offered a different room, but bed was smaller & rock hard. I had booked the "romantic room" and ended up in the "cricket room".... no compensation offered. However, the food was bloody lovely!
