The location was fantastic regards to walking distance for everything. The parking was a nightmare probably due to the restaurant next door. It was also very noisy at night which is fine if you’re enjoying the nightlife. But with littles with you, not very family friendly. The staff was very accommodating and wonderful.

I like the location, however at night it was loud due to the bar next door playing live music. The parking needs some more spots, but that is normal for a beach town. My room did not have a clothes hanger rack or closet, so I had to hang my clothes on the back of the chair. No clothes bar in the room at all. Overall, it served my purpose so I will probably be back again.

Absolutely horrific. I have never seen a room so dirty. Stains on the sheets dirt on the floor and on the wallls. Looked like nobody had wiped the walls since it was built. Very unsafe area. Had to get a different hotel.

Started out with a phone call asking us to check in early, 2pm. Got there and no one was there. Had to call and meet someone at 3pm. They denied ever having conversations with me. Then we found 2 roaches. When I made the reservation I specifically asked if the restaurant was open during our stay. They told me Mon and Tues they were closed... Guess what they were closed till Thursday. To say the least due to our jobs we don't get a lot of time off so we were a little disappointed but we made the most of it by driving into Wilmington and did the river walk and strolled shops. We also visited Michael's Seafood which I highly recommend. We also visited the aquarium which was nice as well.

Family friendly.
Dog hair on top of the night stand and lots of dust. Bed sheets had some hair as well. Bathroom tub was somewhat clean. Overall good for staying one day or 2 if you don’t mind dog hair :)

I loved the outdoor space and how close it was to everything we wanted to do in Carolina Beach. I also loved the options for pets and the dog park area / it also backs up to a pond and a really nice neighborhood for longer walks. I didn’t like how loud my neighbors were and there were no quiet hours in place. They partied until 2-3 am and their kids were screaming. I also found questionable black spots in the sheets the next day and it really freaked me out.

The motel is not on the beach as online, it is a motel people live in and drug infested and Dangerous! I could not stay with a 3 year old. I was Afraid!

We’ve stayed several times and it’s an inexpensive place close to the beach - you get what you pay for. Our experience this time was a little frustrating. Our room looked newly renovated and was very clean but the door to the bathroom could not be closed. It wasn’t just humidity it was unable to be closed at all! The door to room was also wonky but a little kick and it opened. The only other complaint was no parking. You get a parking pass for the lot but it apparently a suggestion. When we went to ask where we should park there was no attendant at the desk - note on the door - and nowhere to park our vehicle. We ended up driving away and paying for overnight parking for $25. I alerted the clerk at check out the next day but he said they can’t do anything about it. They apparently share a parking lot with the restaurant next door.

We stay here at one vacation every year. We stay in the apartment. They are always clean and nice. There's plenty of sleeping space and the provide almost every thing you need. Need to update the mattresses in the double room but other than that it's a great place to stay and relax. The pool stayed warm and clean every day for the family members that love the beach experience but are afraid of the ocean. They took care of all of us.

The restaurant off of the parking lot had a casual atmosphere, very good meal options and relatively inexpensive drinks. I gave the overall of 5 stars not because it is a nice place, but because it met the minimum requirements for a reasonable price for my kids and I while we were there. The motel is much older, but staff keep it well cleaned, work hard and are very friendly. I would stay again, no questions asked!

Definitely stay here again in the future. Great location and walking distance to the boardwalk & beach. Great cafe across the street & a family friendly restaurant shares a parking lot with the hotel. Dog friendly.
