She happily called for dinner reservations on our velar, and even arranged for parking to minimize walking for my elderly father. This is a huge deal inside the city walls. Grazie! "A truly excellent hotel in terms of value for money, service, cleanliness, decor and transport links. It's a two star, but I suspect if it had a lift it would rank higher. There are only three floors in total and there was a stair lift, if needed, for suitcases etc. The owner is a lovely, friendly and helpful lady and the hotel is directly opposite the train station for Assisi with frequent buses to the old town. I would highly recommend thus hotel. "
