The staff at this hotel were some of the kindest people we met in Colombia. We just had an issue with the reservations manager who was very inflexible. Hotel is clean and well maintained but definitely dated. The location as far as Bocca Grande goes was fine, I just didn’t love this district in general, especially after staying in the walled city. Again, can’t say enough good about the staff. The pool was fun too and had a good vibe at night.

Everything was great. The only downside is that tip asking situation. We know that we tip is the if the tip is deserved I just didn’t like the constant asking of the tipping and knocking on your door before you left to remind you about the tip that was the only reason I gave three start of the stuff With, and that everything was great

The stay here was amazing. The food, The staff, The pool and the quietness of this hotel was awesome. Being right by the beach is a plus too, Unfortunately because it’s right next to the beach as soon as you walk from the property to the beach you are immediately hounded by people trying to sell or rent you stuff. This happens the whole time you’re on the beach. This is not the fault of the hotel. I couldn’t even enjoy the beach due to constant bothering but I did enjoy the pool at the hotel. There were nobody at the pool trying to get me to rent or buy stuff. All in all this is a great place and I’ll be back for sure!!!!

My only concern is the I was charge $450 cop for having a guest in my room each day and per guest. I found this to be a inconvenience and I was not happy with that

The hotel is in a nice location. The room we had was nice and clean. The staff are friendly and try to be accommodating except front of house. The sea/beach area is not that great. The pool area is small. There is no entertainment in the hotel either. They could easily do a manager welcome drinks or something. The breakfast is limited as is flavor. The juice tastes like water. We gave some feedback to the manager who took the feedback on board. Shame we will not get to see any chnages implemented.

Overall I had a great stay! The building is older & could use some updating, especially the bathrooms. I will say it was clean & everyone was pretty friendly. I appreciated that the staff weren’t pushy about a tip every sec anytime they answered a question or helped you with something. (Unlike everywhere else in town) Mini bar stocked with drinks & snacks. A safe is always nice. Decent closet. Very spacious king suite, comfy, clean bed. I took Luke warm (at best) showers during the evening & pretty much cold showers during the day. It would be nice to have hot water after a long sweaty day out in the sun. Breakfast was nice, basic continental with pastries, fruits, salads ( they eat salads there every meal apparently), cereal, cheese & meats, the omelette station was a great touch! Also basic drip coffee & a few juices. The dinner menu was ok too, I only ate there once, (it was on the pricier side) I didn’t use the pool, it was a small but clean. They could use more umbrellas around the pool, the area is directly in the sun. Pool bar right there, towels available. Access right to the beach but no loungers from the hotel, you would have to rent from some locals that are all over the beach for like $40-50. I had a nice beach front balcony, although the beach wasn’t the prettiest. The water is much darker & almost a grey looking color compared to taking a boat trip out further towards Rosario island. Rosario island has the beautiful turquoise water, a must visit!

The only reason this hotel doesn't get 5 stars is because the rooms need better insulation. If your neighbor is listening to music, you're listening to music. If someone gets back to their room late at night, you are likely to wake up. Our particular room needed the shower door fixed because it didn't close and would get water on the bathroom floor. Other than that, the staff is AMAZING!!! They go above and beyond to be friendly and welcoming. I would come back to this hotel just for them. There is direct access to the beach. The view from the balcony room is gorgeous. The area is safe and easy to walk to stores and restaurants. The breakfast changes every day and is really tasty.

We were very happy with our stay at the Dann hotel for eight nights. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There is security and taxis are always available outside. The breakfast is delicious. The pool is lovely. A special thank you to Yuranis, Carmelo and Luis in the restaurant. They were so friendly at breakfast time, we felt very welcome.

One if the few nice hotels actually on the beach (where you don’t have to cross the street). The staff was wonderful. The breakfast (with daily omelette bar and fresh juices) was excellent. More umbrellas and lounge chairs are needed by the pool.

Amazing small hotel with all the amenities and located just steps from the beach. The rooms were spacious and we had a wonderful view. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good with enough choices and fresh fruit. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it. It was close enough to the walled in city, we often walked from the hotel (45mins) or you can take a taxi for about $5. The beach had many vendors but we would stay at the pool and just walk to the beach whenever we wanted to go for a swim.

The best staff at any hotel we have ever stayed at. Attentive! Breakfast was excellent. Beautiful pool, good beach and great sunsets. Walking distance to many things!
