Great hotel on the beach, nice staff.
The hosts were wonderful and welcoming the hotel was clean and well done. Breakfast was great. The only thing I didn’t like was the area and it’s location relative to most activities. If you would like a quiet removed vacation on the beach this is your best spot.

Thank you for your kind words about Makena Beach Hostel, your comments are very important for us to improve our service. La Boquilla is a fishermen village near to the old city in Cartagena where are the most of the activities, however there are several ways to go at any time during the day even at night.

Last year in march we spent our vacation here and we were very happy with our choice! Everyone was sooo wholesome and welcoming to us, the food was amazing and the hosts did everything for us to be happy and have a great vacation. I highly recommend you to come here! Greetings from germany :)
