A lovely stay

We loved our stay at Casa de Lis, from the host’s welcome and assistance with parking to a late evening drink on the roof terrace. The hotel is simply but tastefully decorated and our room - with small balcony- provided everything we needed for a comfortable night at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended

My stay at the Casa de Lis Hotel

The staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Rooms are basic but clean. This is the only good hotel in Turrialba town. The manager, Barney, is caring and did everything for our group to make our stay memorable. Rooms need a working desk.

The property has a very homey feel. The shared kitchen was clean and well equipped. There was complimentary morning coffee or tea. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. They had advice about good places to eat and helped us arrange a fantastic coffee farm tour with Gustavo at the Vinas Cafe. A surprisingly excellent place to stay in Turrialba.

Casa de Lis Hotel is a great option to consider booking when visiting beautiful Turrialba in Costa Rica. Its staff are very attentive, welcoming and professional when communicating with them at all times either via email, WhatsApp or in person at their front desk. Their courtesy morning coffee and cosy lobby are a plus. Their rooms are very comfortable and quiet --Wonderful after a hard day's work.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. They made us feel right at home. The hotel was very clean, inviting, and quiet. Has a very nice garden and rooftop deck. It does lack some amenities including breakfast and AC. Wifi is available but is slow. Overall really great stay for the price.

Overall the room was good and the beds were comfortable. It got hot and stuffy as we had to close the windows, no screen in bathroom window and another screen was torn and the mosquitoes were having a feast. Front staff did provide an extra fan but with 5 people in the room it got warm. Included breakfast was located off site and the food/service was incredible.

I would not stay in this hotel again, no parking

The property is located in city not by a river as shown in the picture. Very small property but comfortable to stay just one night, Not recommended if you are looking more than one night stay. It’s a family owned, staff friendly. No parking space. Parking on the street as the hotel staff instructed but got a parking ticket. No sign saying you have to pay for street parking, no payment booth either.

This Hotel is a little Gem tucked away in the heart of the city but without the noise. Property was extremely clean, with all the necessities needed for a great stay. Room was perfect and they had a garden, a huge balcony on 3rd floor with vouchers, chairs, hammock that guest can use. They have a full kitchen that they also allow guest to use or cook if needed. The grounds were well kept and clean. Prices are very affordable. Check in was seamless with Maria and nothing requested was too much. All staffs were very accommodating. They provide coffee service in lobby each morning. We enjoyed our time there although too short. If you’re looking for affordable prices, a quiet place, superb service then this little Gem is ideal for your stay in Turrialba. We will definitely stay again. Thank you for a phenomenal stay and the outstanding customer service that was provided by all staffs that we encountered during our stay.

Tolles preiswertes Hotel

Kleines Hotel mit kleinen Zimmern. Nett eingerichtet mit toller Dachterasse. Parken nur an der Straße, wobei das Hotel beim Kaufen des Parktickets behilflich ist. Tolles Frühstück wird in einem nahen Café serviert. Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit sehr nettem Personal zu einem extrem günstigen Preis.
