Very nice place actually, given a few eyebrows were lifted when we told others we were staying at The Red Lion! I do not know why this was, perhaps it has had a makeover and been restaffed. Anyway, we would recommend it. Nice breaky too!"

"The room was on the 1st floor so there was no worries about overhead footsteps. There is a lift so there is no problem taking cases upstairs. The room was clean and fresh. We had a room with a balcony. It was so relaxing sitting out for an hour. On arrival the staff at reception were very helpful. I had left a plug extension the previous weekend and one of the hotel housekeepers brought it to our room. Love coming to this hotel and recommend it. Especially if you're a golfer."
