The Ro Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I had a lovely room overlooking the lake. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The weather was extremely hot during my stay but the room was air-conditioned and lovely and cool."
Lakes Hotel and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Outstanding hotel, service and cleanliness. Had the most amazing time. Amazing location close to town and local bus stops. Will be staying again next time!"
Stonecross Manor Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice place to stay, they are doing some renovations so looks like itโs only going to get better"
Riverside Hotel
8/10 Good
"Stayed for two nights here in August 2026. Parking was included and undercover so great for a short stay to just leave it there safely. The room was ok, if not a little tired. With marks on the wall, and MDF work surfaces looking frayed. The room was comfy, excellent mattress and pillows, though in a heatwave, due to it being an old mill it was stifling hot. A fan was available but that just moves the heat around. Plugs were sparse, and you'll need a usb charger plug as they aren't integrated plugs yet. Staff were fabulous, really helpful, the barman was a hoot, and so friendly with guests. English Breakfast was fresh and hot, there was a plentiful choice of cereals, fruit and drinks too. We ate at night in the Tannery room, burger and a small fish and chips, both were plentiful and fairly priced. Finally it was a welcome bonus to have a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room available for guests to use after a full day discovering the lakes. A really pleasant stay, the hotel rooms could do with a bit of updating, though the gym, pool, bar were fresh, but it's all a matter of cost."
The Daffodil Hotel

"Carpets could do with a clean."
Holiday Inn Lancaster by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel was great for a stopover on our journey south, checkin was easy, room was great and breakfast ideal before we went on our way again. The facilities looked great though we didnโt get to use them. We would definitely visit again and would be happy to spend longer there."
