"Given the age of the property I’d say it’s fairly clean and tidy. Breakfast choices were okay, could do with more selection. The dining menu was not too bad, though was slightly disappointed with the duck dish I had for dinner service. The spa was nice, again it could do with a freshen up look as most items felt well used. Otherwise it’s been a pleasant stay."

"Room was beautiful and the hotel was very clean. Staff upon check-in were extremely rude, speaking about personal relationships and going on dates with men instead of helping customers. Staff were looking customers up and down whilst pulling faces when asked questions. Overall very beautiful hotel but staff were not helpful in the slightest, more interested in what they were going to get up to outside of work than doing their actual job which ruined the whole experience."

"We stayed at the hotel while attending my son’s ice hockey national final. Overall, the experience was just okay. One of the main issues was breakfast. I had a very early start on Sunday, but breakfast did not begin until 8am, which meant we were unable to use the breakfast we had paid for. I asked the staff whether any food could be provided earlier, but was told this was not possible due to allergy concerns. I also asked whether the money we had paid for breakfast could instead be used towards dinner in the hotel restaurant, but this was not offered as an option either. As a result, I am now having to request a refund from Hotels.com for the breakfast we paid for but could not access. We also used the pool during our stay. Unfortunately, it felt like it could benefit from an upgrade and a more thorough clean. While the staff were polite enough, I did not feel they went the extra mile on this occasion. Given the circumstances, especially knowing we had an early start for a national sporting final, a little flexibility or effort would have made a big difference."
