Embassy Suites by Hilton Raleigh Durham Research Triangle
10/10 Excellent
"Staff went above and beyond for us, they were incredibly warm and welcoming. The complimentary evening refreshments and free breakfast was impressive and a nice surprise. The room was spacious, clean, and perfect for our family. The fitness facility was nice with various cardio equipment, full dumbbell rack, kettlebells, cable machine with multiple attachments - all of which looked to be brand new. The ONLY thing I think could use improvement is the pool area - it was a lot smaller than what it looks like online, and the water was very pretty yuck by the time we got in. We would still go back nonetheless and recommend this anyone staying in the area. "
"The accommodations were great. The rooftop bar was amazing. Great drinks, great friendly staff. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in downtown Raleigh."
"This hotel was a lifesaver. Was assisted by overnight staff Kim, who was extremely helpful to get us to stay here after bad service from prior hotel experience.Ended up staying at this property for one week. The staff were kind and friendly quit to bring resolution to any problems. The property was extremely clean and it felt safe. Property set up with suggestions of things to do nearby with shuttle service, quick and easy to access the expressways and local food spots would definitely stay here again. The Sonesta did not disappoint."
"The 1st impression is fantastic. The lobby is beautiful, clean and the staff is very friendly.
BUT if you stay down there long enough you will realize how hot it is in there. We decided to have dinner at the bar so we could watch March Madness. It was so hot that the bartenders have commercial fans behind the bar and then they have little, tiny electric fans they have blowing on the customers.
Rooms: Upon arrival, it appears to be very clean and nice until... they left us with less then 1/2 a roll of toilet paper, old used coffee filters in the coffee pot and the ac in the room never got below 71 degrees.
The rooms were clean but they are old. Definitely disappointed. Not up to the Hilton standards"
