I liked the location near the Old Market and Old City; the hotel is reasonably close to the Hassan II Mosque and other main tourist attractions. The hotel is reasonably priced. The interior has been renovated and offers modern European style facilities. The breakfast is French in style - strong coffee with a focus on bread, baguette, croissant and butter, jam, and cheese. A bonus is the nearby Belanfa Restaurant (sometimes Bel Anfa) on Rue Driss Lahrizi, No. 26. Authentic, original Moroccan food that is modestly priced. A "cafeteria like" ambience but wonderful Moroccan dishes and a welcoming staff. Try the Pastilla Poulet, spiced chicken in a croissant like pastry with honey. 700 meters from the hotel.

This could have been a 5 star experience but we don’t enjoy the breakfast. It was the same exact thing every single day. Not buffet style. 1 boiled egg 1 croissant and 1 bread. One day they had a fruit and we requested a second bowl because there was three of us and they said they gave us enough fruit in the bowl for the three of us and they were upset about us wanting more fruit. Other than other place is very clean. And also very beautiful in person. The pillows were very comfortable. The bed was a little firm for my taste, but everything was so clean.

I stayed at Hotel Maamoura in Casablanca for one night in October 2026. Overall, my experience was average, with some positive aspects but also a few issues that need attention. The hotel staff were good and helpful, and the breakfast was good. The room had air conditioning, and although the beds were fairly basic, I slept very comfortably. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness and maintenance of the room. I found several bugs on the floor of both the bedroom and the bathroom and had to kill at least three of them, including a small cockroach. This was quite unpleasant and raised concerns about the room's cleanliness. There were also some maintenance and housekeeping issues. No towel was initially provided in the room, although one was supplied upon request. The shower gel provided was insufficient for more than one shower by a single person. Additionally, the shower hose was broken near the showerhead, causing water to spray outside the shower area. The hotel has some good points, particularly its staff and breakfast, but greater attention needs to be paid to cleanliness, housekeeping, and bathroom maintenance. With improvements in these areas, the hotel could offer a considerably better experience to its guests.

The lady room service are very nice was a clean room, the helper in the breakfast room are very nice too... Need some cleaning mostly outside the hotel but the inside are presentable n nice decor... second time to stay in the hotel .

First of all, some of the hotel’s staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel entrance looks great and the hallways look decent. But the room has dirty floor and a stale smell. We had a room facing the street that was quite noisy. The hotel has a section of the street in its front for parking. But it can fill up quickly.

The property was in the medina. It was brightly painted and the man at reception was helpful. There were 3 beds of varying sizes in our room. It also had a huge balcony to enjoy the evening. The shower was remarkable. Internet worked well. We arrived early evening and left for dinner. It was the only time in our trip we felt unsafe. One man was harrassing us, thankfully locals intervened, allowing us to escape. The hotel was well lit. Breakfast had both omlets and gard boiled eggs, fresh OJ, tea and coffee, as well as pastries.
