Rather Mixed...

Patricia and her staff did their best but this much better for those fluent in French or Arabic. Location not for timid, or single / unaccompanied women plus almost impossible for any cab driver to find, in spite of extensive Google directions, photos, etc. 1st room (35) not one we booked (with patio) but well equipped; moved us when free to #41 only to realize when settled NO microwave or knives and oven didn't work - point of an apartment to be able to cook. Housekeeping staff friendly and charming... Everyone tried... Just extremely frustrating on many levels.

Overall it was a good hotel, clean and well-kept. However, I felt I was unfairly charged for airport collection as I had to arrange my own way to the hotel from the airport as the hotel transportation was nowhere to be seen.

Wonderful management and location

We love the neighborhood, bustling with local activities and cafes. The managers, Maxine and Patricia were most hospitable and accommodating. We arrived at night, hungry and thirsty, and was checked in by a night guard, who despite a lack of English, went out of his way to get us bottled water and pointed out where the restaurants were, noting landmarks that would guide us back to the hotel. Maxine was always there when we needed help. The hotel has a few off-site units within walking distance to the hotel office. We moved to one of these units, and it was lovely.
