Casco Holiday Rentals

"The rooms were recently renovated, so they were clean. There is no closet so if you want to hang up clothes there are just several coat hooks on the wall next to the door. No Iron or ironing board. There is a refrigerator, microwave and TV. There is also a free breakfast, coffee, mini muffins and make your own waffles, and cold cereals. This hotel seems to be putting in the effort, but the outside appearance is nothing to write home about and there seemed to be sketchy guests or maybe longer stay tenants? Bright lights outside the room light it up as if it’s daytime. Definitely not a place I would return to. "

"Terrible time with dirty rooms. Terrible breakfast and internet going down every couple of min. It took me ages to finish my work. Will not stay again. "

"Beautiful hotel and ambiance! Favorite reading spot by the lobby fireplace. Dining was delicious at The Dive restaurant. Loved the quaint room and abundant closet and drawer space. Spacious shower and spectacular rainfall shower head. Only complaint was the mattress we had gave me a backache since I’m used to a firm one, but it’s probably okay for those who prefer soft mattresses. There was also a thin layer of dust on the drawer chest but easily wiped down. Would definitely return especially in warmer season for pool and hot tub. "

"This hotel was fabulous in every way. The welcoming way the entrance was decorated for Easter was so inviting. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms were immaculate. Every corner was dusted and cleaned. This was by far the best place that I have ever stayed booking through a third-party. I will definitely look for Candlewood anywhere I go now. Thank you for a great day."

"The hotel is clean and updated, but I went for the hot tub, which unfortunately was filled with little kids and not hot. "

"1. Our room had leftover food still in the fridge. We communicated that to front desk staff and she said “thanks for telling me.” It did not give me much comfort that the rest of the room was cleaned well. 2. The pool heater was broken and there was no acknowledgment of that prior to check-in. Also the ceiling was in horrible disrepair. 3. The “hottub” was the size of a whirlpool tub that could fit maybe 3 adults. 4. I overheard another guest tell the staff that the pop machine did not dispense the correct beverage. She was told “sorry that’s a third party vendor and I can’t do anything about it.” 5. We could not figure out how to get the tv chsnnels to work and when asked we were told every room has a different input so try others. To her credit, she did offer to come up and help however it was late and was not worth the time any longer. We were very dissapointed in our stay and will not be staying again. I am shocked that it has an ‘8’ rating. "
