"I stayed at the Tenuta Torre Diana hotel for a couple of nights last weekend, using it as a base for travel to the Grand Prix. All of my expectations were blown away! The hotel is absolutely *gorgeous*, packed full of history and character. Every room I went in had its own story to tell. I had booked a room with a single bed, being on my own, but the manager had decided to upgrade my stay to one of their double rooms at no charge, which was hugely appreciated. "This place is a gem. Highly recommend the breakfast which is fresh and includes home baked goods, poached eggs, cheese and mortadella, fresh yogurt with toppings and juices. We went on Salt Flat excursion with Ricardo which can only be accessed through a registered guide. There were tons of flamingos and other water birds. Comacchio is a bird watcher/photographers paradise and Ricardo’s background as a naturalist and photographer will amp up your experience. Lovely place and people."
