"The only down side of this stay was that there on the other side of Florence from everywhere else. You can take 1 bus the 14 and you’ll be looking at about 40 minutes to get to the more central part of the city. But besides that its a really nice place with good people working there. "

"This was our first trip to Florence. We did a lot of research but even with that you’re never really sure you found the right place. We chose Market Urban based on the reviews. This hotel is not in the center of everything but really close and we think that was a benefit. It is a short seven minute walk from the train station, 10 minutes to the Duomo, 15 minutes to Academia and 20 minutes to Ufuzi Lots of restaurants nearby. By USA standards the rooms are a bit small BUT we had a comfortable king bed and a modern bathroom. Most importantly the people who work there are super friendly and helpful with things like recommendations for restaurants directions tours etc. I want to specifically thank David, Nick, Roberto and Giovani. If you are from the USA you will appreciate the breakfast . Scrambled Eggs, bacon, pancakes, croissants, fruit and yes real American coffee "

"Lovely hotel in a fantastic location with easy walking distance to main attractions and the station. The room itself was nicely decorated with comfortable beds and a nice view from our window too. Breakfast was great. Everything was fresh and tasted good. The hotel was a bit pricey but to be expected for the location. "

"The staff were very attentive and friendly. They always were able to help us with directions if needed. The hotel is lovely, a mixture of old and new. I especially enjoyed the patio in the mornings. It is near many restaurants, the main train station, the main market, several churches. Next door is a salon where I had a wonderful relaxing manicure for 16 Euros. It is across from a piazza that had a market on Saturday morning as we were leaving the city."

"We were put in an unsuitable room….. double bed against a wall, with little space to climb out on the enclosed side. Nearly 60 years old….,, not a spring chicken. Reception moved us the next day when a more suitable room was available. "

"Very nice hotel. It has the best rooftop view of Florence, we enjoyed going up to the Empire rooftop bar for drinks while enjoying the sunset. Staff is excellent and rooms are clean and comfortable "

"This hotel is worth the stay for the history alone! However, it being centrally located to everything in Florence (museums, shopping, dining, churches, etc) is the real appeal. Most of the staff spoke and understood English, which was nice. They were extremely helpful with any questions we asked. I would absolutely stay here again."
