The only downside was that it was a 20 minute walk from the town centre along a beach pathway with a few hazards which would not be suitable for anyone not steady on their feet or with a pushchair (although the owner is happy to ring for a taxi if needed)"

"This hotel is very well located on the sea shore near the very heart of Santa Maria Di Castellabate, Campania. It looks nice, though the rooms are not quite as nice as shown in the pictures on its website. It is no longer a ‘luxury’ hotel. The bed linen, headrest, cushions, etc, are tired and well-past their ‘best by’ dates. They need to be replaced. The fridge in our room was very noisy at night. The bathroom had no extractor fan or air-conditioning. Stepping out of the shower was like...

"The outdoor terrace area and pool area was lovely. The pool was clean and a good size with plenty of sunbeds to choose from. The only criticism was the size of the apartment. It wasn't quite big enough for 4 people and had a small kitchen. The bathroom was just sufficient. Overall a nice residence in a nice area though restaurants are very Italian but that is typica of the area and not a problem for us."

"A short drive (5 mins) from everything,could have walked, this hotel was very clean and comfortable. Our room was big and had a large balcony. Breakfast was very good. Above all else, the staff were wonderful. Nothing was a trouble to them. I would definitely return."
