"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Cala Marina. First, the staff was so friendly, helpful, and pleasant. We couldn’t believe the breakfast spread when we came down the first day. So many choices and everything was delicious! The room was good size and clean. The location was outstanding. It’s the last hotel right across from the marina, so quiet, but an easy walk to restaurants right down the street, or a short walk to the old section with many more options for dining. "

If you want to go to the beach, you must book in advance at tonnara di Scopello. We hadn’t and so could not go down. The zingaro nature reserve was also closed due to a fire. The area is still worth a visit, but book the beach before you arrive. We were even off season. "
