Hotel Silvia sympa.

Nous nous sommes arretés dans cet hotel pour une nuit... Agreablement surpris. Petit hotel sympa,propre et personnel souriant. Les chambres sont petites mais suffisantes et climatisees. Nous reviendrons certainement.

J'avais réservé une chambre double terrasse, au final j'ai eu une chambre double avec une simple fenêtre. L'hôtel est simple, nous y avons bien dormi mais la salle de bains est toute petite, dans un placard.

Convenient for visiting Empuriabrava

A comfortable, clean hotel close enough to visit the city particularly if you have a car. There are also a few parking space outside the hotel, and if they are full there is also ample street parking. However when we checked in to the hotel, the staff there obviously did not know how to retrieve our money paid via hotels.com through the system and she was asking us to pay onsite again. After a round of explanation and negotiation, she agreed to let us into our room suggesting that we will look into the issue the next morning when we check out (while still insisting that we will pay if she cannot get the money). She kept mentioning that they don't receive a lot of booking through hotels.com so it is obvious that it is her not knowing how to use the hotels.com system. Luckily a while later she told us that she was able to speak to someone at hotels.com to have it resolved. She was trying to be helpful and it was obviously a case of incompetence on her end, but we thought that if you are going to take bookings via hotels.com, it is better that the hotel train their staff better on these procedures.

Un hotel muy cómodo, limpio y con habitaciones bonitas. Aunque el trato del personal es tan malo que todo lo demás es tirado por tierra. Realmente mal, con malas palabras y gestos muy desagradables que acompañaban un simple check in/out o abrir la puerta a media noche para poder acceder al hotel. Recepcionistas a las que no les gusta tratar con gente y que cualquier trámite les ha dado más pereza que al propio huésped. Que no respondas ni a un hola ni un adiós, pues es de mala educación pero sin más pero que te habran de un portazo la puerta y con alguna frase que ni se entendia por lo bajoni es inadmisible. No lo recomendaria en absoluto. Hay algunos más por ese precio.

La recepcionista muy maja,.parking gratis en el hotel y aparcamiento en los alrededores.en general bien calidad precio. Para ir a la playa andando para mi queda un poco lejos en coche un momento.

A good small hotel

A strange hotel. From the outside it looks old fashioned a not very welcoming, and has a weird mix of dated furniture and modern decor, yet the bed was super comfy, the róom was spotless, and there was ample contintental food for breakfast. I would stay again if passing through. One downside. I walked to lovely beach front and ordered taxi back to hotel. A distance of just over 1km cost 15 euros!
