"We were just looking for a way to get away from the inner city, Rome, Florence, etc. this is the nicest place in the north we had stayed with the most hospitality in the north definitely recommended stay in the countryside of Tuscany here rather than in Florence Rome, we love it so much. "We loved our time at this gorgeous adults-only resort! The staff were all friendly and so helpful! Every view is peaceful & the area is classic Tuscany - resort is even right above a lovely horse farm. Do be aware the parking is down a hill, but it’s a lovely walk back up to the main building. Also there are steps to some rooms so notify if need ground level. Our double room was lovely & comfortable - the shower was small but worked well - double bed was large and firm. Breakfast was tasty, with good variety over 3 mornings - the unlimited coffee was so good! No official dinner served but can order “snacks” until 7:30p - our yummy ham/cheese panini & gelato were sufficient “dinner” for an evening by the pool. We were sad to leave Sassa al Sole and would definitely stay here again!"
