It’s a beautiful small property with a very cool design. Fairly rustic though and with a bit of a farmhouse feel and therefore maybe not for everyone. Managers and owners Giacomo and Paola are both fantastic. Giacomo in particular was a superstar, passionately speaking about the wines of the winery and the region, giving us great restaurant recommendations and really going above and beyond with a smile.
We were extremely lucky to be the only guests on the main house which made our short stay to be very special! All the staff made us feel like special guests. The landscape is iidilic, the design of the room and common spaces is perfect! The wine tasting with food pairing is a must.
Un boutique hotel molto curato con arredi e oggettistica di pregio. il personale molto ben preparato e disponibile. il responsabile di cantina molto appassionato nel suo lavoro, vini assolutamente di alto livello.
Very well thought through space. Clean and comfortable with beautiful details to add to the experience.
Serena, our host, was very attentive and calm throughout, regardless of her many tasks.
The breakfast comprised of freshly baked goods and the wines from the estate were unique.
A special place!
This is an interesting B&B in a working winery. We had a bit of difficulty having our Google Maps finding it accurately, but with the help of a delightful young woman running the operation we were able to find it. The signage is a bit difficult to see. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. Be aware that you are pretty much in the middle of nowhere. I don’t mean this in a negative way, but there are no nearby restaurants that you can walk to and the roads are very narrow and twisty, which was not an issue during the day, but at night a bit unnerving. There is a very good restaurant, Cave Ox, about two miles away in a small town. There are several good winery’s in the area to visit if that is your thing. All in all a very good stay.
Incredible experience, especially visiting shortly before harvest. Lydia, Serena, and the whole staff made the stay dream-worthy. The space is designed impeccably so that you can see the old palmetto (where the wine was historically made) through glass windows around the residence. Incredibly clean and luxe, yet with rustic character that made it feel even more comfortable and charming. There was even a kitchen to be used at our disposal. Homemade breads and pastries for breakfast were a treat. Highly, highly recommend staying here if you're in the Etna area. Or better yet, plan a trip to Mt. Etna just to visit Fessina.
Simplemente increíble, la atención de la gente los detalles en los cuartos y en las áreas del hotel impresionantes, el lugar en general precioso y la experiencia inmejorable!!
