It was difficult to take a shower with the sewer smell coming from the pipes. It did help eventually when we ran some water, but it was the stinkiest room I've ever stayed in. The rest was great. "We felt like royalty staying at this elegant palace. The room is giant with antique furniture but all the modern conveniences. The bath also very large with great fixtures. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the famous Scrovengi Chapel and Emeritani Museum. Padua was a great city to visit and this hotel made it extra special."
