"The bathrooms have been updated. Walk in showers instead of bath. Kettle in room! Staff were helpful as i seemed to have 2 identical bookings through expedia BOTH paid for. The hotel said they would not charge so hope expedia reimburse me!"

"Room looks superb, new, with a beautiful view to Penafiel Castle. Bathroom very clean with a nice bathtub. Hotel very close to Penafiel city center. Area very safe and with parking space to park the car. Staff like Danny very friendly and helpful. Restaurant very convenient with nice selection. "

"Right in the centre of town,very grand entrance and reception area.Joanna on reception was a credit to the hotel.Very courteous and informative.Parking is chargeable and has restrictions.It is possible to drive around the square and locate free(after 8pm)parking.Surprisingly breakfast was as good as ai had hoped although it is included in the booking."

"Wonderful hotel, so pretty and friendly. Breakfast was great and included in stay. Wine was amazing and not expensive. Was travelling back to Bilboa from Murcia and was close to turning so very handy but you couldn’t see or hear road. One of the best hotels we have stayed in for a while. "
