"The place could use some attention in the rooms. It is an older place but what the charge you to stay you would think that the place would be immaculate. It was cleaner this time compared to last time. The cleaners needs to spend time on mopping the floors!!!"
"Breakfast included biscuits, sausage gravy, sausage, scrambled and boiled eggs, waffles. This is much better than two years ago when only waffles, cereal, and toast were available.
The swimming pool was closed for maintenance."
"This was a lovely place to stay for a wedding related trip to Rogersville. It is conveniently located and has wonderful, historic charm. Our room “The Browns” was clean and very comfortable. The check in and check out procedure was easy and the Desk Clerk was very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend a stay here!"
"The hotel was small. It has a nice pool and hot tub. The breakfast was not so good. It has minimal breakfast selections. The air conditioner in the room was ok. 2nd floor ice maker and pop machine were broken. It was clean and they were trying to fix some stuff up."
"We came to town for the Hills of Home festival, we have never stayed here but thought we would try it out because the pictures look great online. We checked in very paste at night, soon after getting in the room, my wife and son, who have asthma, both began experiencing breathing problems. The room was so dirty, in fact the dirtiest hotel room I’ve ever been in. I opened the drawer by the coffee bar where there was old food crumbs and a ton of dust, and the smell of dead mouse made me vomit. There were rat feces, a large amount, all over the floor around and behind the night stand in between the beds. There was dust a 1/2 inch thick on top of the armoire. The tub was gross. I could go on and on, but I won’t. Went to front desk and the lady was very nice, advised us since we booked third party they could not refund the money. I have not gotten my money returned and had to leave there and go find another place to stay at midnight. Straight disaster. Never, ever, again."
