"Lina Pointe is unique with floors to see the ocean floor, fish and fin. A restaurant was being constructed; however, there are many eatting choices. David, the manager, and the cleaning staff were very helpful. Everyone was friendly. The local fare is exquisite and must be experienced you are sure to enjoy something in the area. "

"Great place. We had a 2nd floor family loft. It was great, the AC worked perfect, we never lost power. I would say every single unit has an ocean view, we were at the farthest unit (from the beach) it was a "pool view" unit and we still could see the ocean from the balcony. It was great to have a kitchen, we cooked breakfast every day and saved money. Staff was very accommodating helping us arrange scuba tours with special requests. The public areas are spotless, the pool was great. we registered at coco beach one day and ate and use their pool too, the kids loved it. We rented a golf cart in town and parked it at the hotel, no issues. The beach, we didn't went in, didn't look appealing. We went during sargassum season. The hotel cleans it every day, at 8am you can see 2 guys and a small truck cleaning all the sargassum. But by 1 pm the sargassum was back. So if you wanna go in do it early. The water won't be blue by the beacb during sargassum season. It will be brown. But you won't find a nice beach on the ocean side of Ambergris. You have to go secret beach for nice clean crystal clear blue water. We did used the hammocks on their pier, amazing view, relaxing, and even jumped from the pier, but there was something itchy in the water. Didn't like it. But we didn't missed the beach. We took scuba and diving tours, island hoping tours, went to secret beach, use the pools, drove the golf cart around ,we had a great time. "

"From check-in to cleaning out room daily (their policy) left cokes and water daily, staff was extremely friendly and kuddos to the security gentlemen who greeted us every evening with a smile. Only suggestion would be black out curtains please."

"From beginning to end this place was absolutely amazing. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. My husband and I went fishing one day and the chef at the restaurant was kind enough to cook our fish for us. He did an amazing job. Very thankful."

"RAMON’S VILLAGE This resort is stunning. It was really quiet despite being off of a busy street. It is located just a 5-minute walk from the airport, but the hotel staff pick us up at the airport with a golf cart at no cost. There is a great pool on site which is open 24h, which is amazing! The beach is the prettiest one we saw on the island. This place is very well situated, it’s close to everything. A bunch of restaurants are 10-15 mins walk and it is really safe to walk around town, even at night.There is a big convenience store (Walk Mart) next door. There is no hard liquor sold at the resort but you can bring your own. However, they do sell wine and beer. Only issue is that it’s a bit complicated to get what you need on site … you need to ask for your towel at the reception / your water at the restaurant and your ice at the bar … Not convenient and it gets annoying to make 3 stops every time you need any of these items. The rooms are clean, the cleaning staff (in the rooms and on the beach) were very nice and attentive. The reception people were nice enough, the restaurant employees were ok but the bar staff was slightly annoyingly flirty. The food is ok on site for breakfast but you should go into town to get something nicer for dinner. Overall a good experience: the site is absolutely stunning and the beach is well maintained and one of the best on the island. Cons: the bar and restaurant staff weren’t too helpful and they were a bit pushy and annoying at times."
