2/10 Terrible

"I am a senior traveling with my service dog. I was given a ground floor room and until about 2:30 AM the room above me was doing renovations. I even at 12:30 went outside to see the window open and lights on and a ladder. as far as I could tell my car was the only one in front of that wing of the hotel. When I told this to the desk in the morning they acted like they didn't have a clue. I got maybe 2 hours sleep in a crappy room dirty tub and lots of noise. will never stay at a quality Inn again."

"No one available to check me in at 3:45pm. No one answered either phone number listed. Remote for the TV did not work. Window latch did not work - so window could be easily opened from outside the room. Cigarette butts on the ground outside the door (no smoking allowed anywhere on the property). Light burned out in the bathroom. Overall, very disappointed"

"The smoke alarm started beeping. I went to the reception to notify them. The lady said “I can’t do anything about it “ Me: “but we have one more night here and we need to sleep “ Lady: “I can’t do anything, the maintenance guy is not here” Me: “ is there someone else? It is just the battery “ Lady: “no, i can’t help you” So … yeah… that was one thing. We needed to take the battery out so we can sleep. The lady was upset when we asked for help. I asked the name of the manager so maybe she would be more helpful. She said “Amy” Me: Amy, what? “Just Amy. “ No help at all, didn’t care… nothing. Also, we couldn’t find a way to login on Netflix. The pool closed before the time they say it will. The gym is open just like 2 hours in the morning. No treadmill. My advice, pay a little bit more and avoid this place. I am never going back to this hotel in Cedar City, Utah."

"The outside of the facility were well maintained. The front desk was helpful, however there was no adult present for the majority of our experience. The rooms didn’t look as if they were cleaned before we arrived. There were small pieces of trash on the floor, the cap to the sink plug was on the side of the sink, there was a half-used hand soap container on the sink, there were stains on the carpet, the kind where we felt like we needed to wear socks the entire time, the curtain that was visible was decent but the light-blocking liner clearly needed to be replaced, as it was covered with holes which let light in. There were missing light fixtures and there was no light switch to turn off the light in the bathroom and the fixture in the bathroom actually looked dangerous. The fan running all the time could be seen clearly. While the towels were clean, and we think the sheets were clean, the rest left us embarrassed to be there. And, for it being a non-pet friendly hotel, there were barking dogs during our stay."

"I recently stayed at Motel 6 in Cedar City and unfortunately had a mixed experience. The positives first: the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming during our stay, and the beds and sheets appeared clean and comfortable. However, the room itself left a lot to be desired. The walls were extremely dirty, and the curtains were stained and had an unpleasant smell. We also found bugs in our room, which was concerning. Another inconvenience was the lack of electrical outlets—there were only two available in the entire room, making it difficult to charge devices. The biggest issue was the noise. Kids were running through the hallways, knocking on doors, and screaming at all hours of the night, making it very difficult to get any rest. While I appreciated the kindness of the front desk staff and the clean bedding, the cleanliness issues, bugs, limited outlets, and constant nighttime noise would make me think twice before staying here again."
