Nice old fishing little town,
In 1989, eight thousand acres in and around Cedar Key were added to the National Register of Historic Places in an attempt to preserve and protect the marshes and wetlands in Florida. An archeological park in the area provides evidence of early man's "shell cultures" that lived along these marshes thousands of years ago. It's the perfect place to slip into the water in a kayak (rentals are available in the area) and really experience the rhythm of life up close and personal.

This was the best property that we have found after many visits to Orlando. It literally has something for everyone. The heated pools are all amazing, the hot tubs are fantastic, and we enjoyed the bars and food on site as well. We will definitely be staying there again.
