Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Jacksonville by IHG
2/10 Terrible
"The breakfast was ok. The pancake machine made more of a skidmark than a pancake. The oatmeal was instant and the yogurt was not low in stock.
The room had a nasty smell to it like it was unclean. We paid to have a room that slept 6 and the fold out couch was so bad that we could not use it hardly as a couch let alone a place to sleep.
The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and the bathroom tiles had no grout and the light above the sink was out. We had to track someone down for towels and the pool area was dirty. The hot tub did not work. It was dirty and the jets did not work. The water had stuff floating in it.
Overall, I would not recommend this property."
"The room was clean and spacious. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was good. We were hoping for eggs and sausage but the biscuits and gravy were good. Parking was spacious. Some of the lights outside were flickering but other than that, felt safe, etc. Overall, we will stay here again if the need arises."
"No front desk, all transactions were done remotely! If there was any issue, it would have to be done over the phone! Thankfully everything was fine, but I not a fan of getting instructions on my phone to check in! What if my phone wasn’t working or not charged since I was on the road! It was a wonderful room, but should be informed that there is no one at the hotel!"
"A nice, cozy, small town feel. Was recommended Gianni's pizza down the road from the hotel staff. Very friendly people, will stay again when I visit "
"Enjoyable and pleasant surroundings. The quaint hotel is located on the town square with an in-house restaurant and shops and a great pizza parlor close by. Everyone was friendly and helpful."
