"We had a great time staying at the resort for 4 nights! Being within walking distance from the beach and from most shopping on Pastor Diaz Ave was ideal. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was pretty good, and we definitely enjoyed how they did a different theme every night. Having Alsama Tours on-site to coordinate activities was great as well. Thank you!"

"Great experience overall. Best part is a lot of monkeys and birds are visible from their facility which has a lot of wooded area around it. Spotted capachin monkeys, squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys, red macaws, bananaquit, Agoutis and iguana. The hotel is 5 mins from National park and beautiful beaches. A lot of restaurant choices around and a bus shuttle runs every 15 mins to National park. "

"Everything was great! AC worked well, the staff was helpful and pleasant. The free breakfast was excellent, hot cooked every morning, about 1/4-1/2 mile walk to the beach, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The pool area was beautiful. They also had a security guard out at night. Pet friendly hotel too. "

"Beautiful resort. We were able to see lots of wildlife there including monkeys, skoths, iguanas, snakes, frogs, owls, and even a honey bear. Great pools. My son loved the game room and my little one enjoyed playing with toys in the playroom. Staff is very friendly."

"This property has a beautiful location right on the beach!! the pool is perfect. We loved our stay very much, we recommend rooms 14, 15...those in the back facing the pool that is right next to the bar, which is on the other side of the beach. You can't beat it! "

"The property at GAIA hotel was truly a tropical paradise nestled in the rainforest. The views are amazing, the spa relaxing and the rooms were spaced to allow privacy and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff at GAIA is what made our time in Costa Rica a bespoke experience which was so memorable. The onsite restaurant, La Luna, offered delicious meals and the wait staff were very personable and professional. The Scarlet Macaw rehabilitation facility based on the property is another example of how the owner and team at GAIA care deeply about the environment and culture of Costa Rica.
