"The pool was warm! Very pretty setting with skylights. The Exercise room was a joke, literally a closet that they covered with mirrors. The water bottle that your $25 "Destination Fee" supposedly covers is pointless. It is so flimsy that when you try to hold it the water all squeezes out. Also note, even if you pay ahead, they will take that fee when you arrive, so make sure to budget it. The fee also includes a $15 credit (1 per day) to Mr Ed's Creole kitchen next door. Good food, fast service in the AM, slow service in the PM. The rooms have comfortable beds, extra blankets. The fixtures in the shower are a little wonky, but they work and there is plenty of hot water. The AC was cold. "

"My airport taxi was unable to park at the curb, and the Porter would not let him wait for me to get my bag. This has caused considerable inconvenience. With the exception of J, the concierge, no one in the hotel was able to provide even a few minutes charge for my phone. The front desk was helpful when I could not find my glasses. The area is incredibly loud, the view poor, but the Bourbon Restaurant is nice. There is a lot of skunkweed smell surrounding the exterior perimeter of the hotel so keep that in mind. I would avoid staying here again and regrettably cannot recommend even though the staff is very friendly and tries to help."
