Beautiful location, but not easy to access, very windy roads. The villa is quite old and a little run down. The room was spacious with a very nice view. Bed and pillows were quite uncomfortable. They advertised a free bottle of sparkling wine, which we never saw . The room was clean, full of antique furniture. There was a small balcony but the chairs and tables were quite dirty. We couldn't use them. Breakfast was good, with delicious homemade cake but no fresh fruit, only canned fruit cocktail. The town is easily accessible and there were several options for dinner within walking distance.

We stayed just for one night with a toddler on our way home and were pleasantly surprised to have found this gem. It is probably everything what people think of when they talk about a cute BnB full of little details that show how much the owners care. The room was unique, tasteful, clean, charming. The garden was great to relax under a beautiful huge tree. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. Would go back there anytime. Thanks a lot for the lovely stay.

Clean, friendly staff, room had a kitchenette which we didn’t really need to use but having a fridge is a real plus as a family traveling. It had a family B & B feel. Breakfast was great. The town center was a short walk and adorable. Only difficulty for us was driving with a fully loaded opal combo tour up the hill to this town was stressful!

This property is ran/owned by a young couple. The room and bathroom were spacious and quite nice. Very clean as well. It looks as a place they are still working on. Specially the outer part of the house. The hosts were very kind and nice. I recommend them for your stay.

The property is not easily accessible by motorbike having just navigated some of the most hair raising hairpin bends on the way to the town to then be faced with a rough, gravel & wood, steep, bending path to park up next to the house! Thank goodness there was no charge for parking! Once settled, I can’t thank Max enough for the warm welcome (and cold beer!) and the hospitality shown to me. The views were amazing, the breakfast, taken on the top floor dining room, was full of variety and very enjoyable, especially looking out to the mountain views. The bedroom was above average size with a full size, very comfortable bed. I was surprised to find that there was no wardrobe but the vintage furniture was interesting and gave the room character, as did the squeaky floorboards 😁. I was , however, disappointed to find that I was sharing a shower room and toilet with the guests next door, when I understood I had an en suite. Maybe I misread the description. Be aware that the beautiful, modern and very efficient shower room may prove to be a bit of a tight fit for the more portly guest (not my problem!). The shower room/toilet were accessible via a small kitchen unit with a vast selection of coffees and teas to choose from, plus the use of an induction hob and a microwave..There are also two dogs on the premises which may be a problem for some people. An easy ten minute walk down the lane and there was a good choice of bars and restaurants. Overall I enjoyed my stay here.

Everything was good. The road to get there was a little bit difficult. We would have liked the breakfast to start earlier than 8:30. We missed it because we had to leave early.

Wir waren schon zum 3. Mal da. Es war diesmal nicht ganz so ruhig dort, liegt vermutlich dar,an, dass sich das BnB vergrößert hat. Der zusätzliche Parkplatz ist zwar praktisch, da man nicht durch das enge Tor fahren muss, aber der Untergrund ist nicht so gut. Da könnte man etwas verbessern. Das Frühstück war wieder wunderbar und die Mitarbeiterin sehr freundlich!

Nous avons passé une nuit à la Villa Alma lors de notre trajet vers les Marches, et ce fut une très bonne étape, avec en plus un parking pratique. La maison, une demeure de caractère de plus de cent ans transformée en hébergement, ne ressemble pas à un hôtel moderne. L’ensemble est ancien, mais c’est justement ce qui fait son charme, avec une ambiance authentique et très vintage. La salle de bain, entièrement rénovée, offre un excellent confort. Nous n’avons toutefois pas réussi à faire fonctionner la climatisation et avons utilisé les ventilateurs. Nous occupions la suite au dernier étage, ce qui restait agréable. La famille qui gère les lieux est accueillante. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans une petite dépendance faisant aussi office de café. Le jardin, avec ses nombreux bancs et chaises, est idéal pour se détendre après la route. Si vous cherchez un hébergement plein de caractère plutôt qu’un lieu impersonnel, c’est une adresse que nous recommandons volontiers.
