"This property is unusual for hotels.com in that its main function is as a conservation centre for a rare breed donkey. It’s close enough to Perpignan to be convenient but far enough away to feel tranquil. The room was excellent. The decor was pleasantly quirky, Mexican themed with a Frieda Carlo picture on the wall and a cactus shaped soap dish in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom modern. "Beautifully refurbished, good service. Self check in was easy. Nice feel to the building and the town. Breakfast was at a restaurant nearby, less than 5 minutes walk. "

"I stayed for one night on a cycling trip. I was very happy with everything. Nadia met me at the door and explained everything nicely. She was able to provide secure storage for my bike around the corner from the property. The room was smartly furnished and a generous size. The breakfast, as noted by others, was delicious and extensive. It was a pleasure to share it with some other guests. Shops and centre ville are close by. I would definitely stay again."

"Lovely property well maintained in a remote location. Sadly the pool wasn’t in operation during our stay but that did not detract. We were allocated the pool house so unable to comment on the main house. Owners are friendly, welcoming and eager to please. The village of Darnius is quaint but very much a one-horse town (unfortunately someone has stolen the horse). If it’s tranquility you are after, you will find it here."

"We spent 5 days in May 2023 at the charming and spacious Villa du Parc, in one of their 2-bedroom Gite apartments. The Villa is very well situated in the suburbs of Prades, only 10 minutes walk from the attractive town centre. The apartment and the whole Villa were clean, well laid out and well equipped.
