If I could give this hotel more than five stars, I would.
Out of all the places I’ve stayed, Alaçatı Old House has been my favorite💕not just because it’s beautiful, but because of the incredible kindness and hospitality of the owners. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel less like guests and more like family.
The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. Every corner feels like something out of a postcard, with cascading bougainvillea draped over the stone walls and the calming scent of lavender filling the air each morning. It was peaceful, charming, and truly picturesque. It checked every box I could have hoped for.
The breakfast each morning was unforgettable. Everything was fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious. The homemade apricot jam was the best I’ve ever had. When the owner realized how much I loved it, she surprised me by packing a freshly made jar for me to take home before we left. It was such a thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflects the warmth and generosity of this place.
It’s rare to find a hotel where you leave with memories not only of the destination, but of the people who welcomed you. This was more than just a hotel, it was an experience I’ll always cherish. I already can’t wait to return.
