Unfortunately, my experience did not meet these expectations:
Upon arrival, while my taxi driver was unloading my luggage, a bellboy walked past without offering assistance or even acknowledging me. I had to carry my own bag up the ramp into the lobby.
When I entered the lobby, it was empty of guests, yet several front desk staff were engaged in conversation among themselves. Despite this, there was no greeting or acknowledgment of my arrival.
Throughout my stay, I consistently experienced a lack of basic courtesy. Each time I passed through the lobby, front desk staff did not greet or acknowledge me, instead continuing their personal conversations.
These interactions gave the impression of inattentive and unprofessional service, which is not in line with the standards expected of a 5-star hotel.
What I found most disappointing about my stay was not just the lack of service, but the clear sense of being judged and treated differently.
After spending a month trekking across Morocco, I arrived with practical travel gear rather than polished luggage. Unfortunately, it seemed that this alone influenced how I was treated. I was met with indifference from staff who appeared far more engaged and welcome toward other guests.
Hospitality should never be conditional on appearance or race. "
