Top Chacombe Hotel Reviews

Walton Hall Hotel & Spa by Sunday

10/10 Excellent

"A great stay. Happy to rebook again"

The White Swan Hotel

8/10 Good

"You stay here to experience history! It was built in 1450 and is a beautiful antique hotel with character and modern baths. There was a carnival happening when we were there that made it louder than usual, but that wasn’t really the fault of the hotel. Very convenient to all the Shakespeare sights you might want to see in this quaint town."

Macdonald Bear Hotel

8/10 Good

"Whilst I appreciate that the hotel is a beautiful old building, there are areas which need small things doing that would make the building perfect, such as painting over worn paintwork and replacing worn carpet on the stairs. The service at the hotel was very good. The room was lovely and very old and needed a small amount of repairs to the paint on walls and cracked tiles in the bathroom. The breakfast was just ok. I don't understand in a hotel of this standard why you have to pay an extra £6 for some breakfast items that weren't even anything special. Also the pastries, juices etc weren't replenished regularly so if anyone went for breakfast a bit later there wasn't much to choose from. The hotel is in a great location right in the heart of the village and next to Blenheim Palace."
